When I first wrote this list I was debating on whether or not to put this in the relationship column or the health column but I feel like health is where it’s at! All of these aspects are a direct reflection of your mental health and the way you feel about yourself. It’s very difficult for a person to have high self-confidence who struggles in these areas. This blog is not to demonize anyone!
We’ve all struggled with one or more of the “seven deadly sins” at one point in our lives. The bizarre thing is, some people behave as if women cannot have these same struggles. They see lust as a “man thing” or see all women as “frivolous spenders” and that is why coaching for women is so important. If you’ve never heard of the seven deadly sins, please Google it after you read this. These aspects are a few that I cover in my coaching program.
Horniness can cloud your judgment, obsessive judgment can cause you to miss out on things that matter the most, when you have difficulty adapting to situations in your surroundings; it causes you to hold onto people and things that no longer serve you which can literally ruin your life. And lastly, when you’re cheap (and I’m not referring to a person who is frugal or saves money), when you are CHEAP which I define as unwilling to invest in yourself and unwilling to invest in quality, you limit your quality of life! I may not pay $2000 for a Louis purse at this point in my life, but I will gladly pay $2000 to furnish my space and make sure I have everything I need for my home to be clean and peaceful. I will also pay a higher amount in rent in order to ensure my safety. Sometimes when you look at what you are utilizing your funds for, you have to be mindful of what it means to spend money versus what it means to invest.
Anything that is for your livelihood, peace of mind, and longevity is an investment! I always tell you ladies that women who have difficulty investing in themselves also have difficulty with reciprocal relationships because how can a partner invest in you if you aren’t willing to invest in yourself?
The bottom line is, while we live in a world that asks you to focus on your strengths; I really want you to hone in on your weaknesses as well. Accountability is an aspect of self-love!
